Speedload 6 has slamfire: yup.. confirmed old news:P

After reading a post on Nerf Mods + Reviews regarding the Speedload 6, I can't believe I ever failed to check to see if my pre-release model had Slamfire or not. SO I went off to check this morning.

Yup. It does. *Dumb* Speedload 6 has Slamfire. Confirmed. :)

  1. Slamfire? Slick!!! For the first time, I'm actually raving about a new blaster! Now the price seems much more appropriate! (Although, with only six shots, I don't know how useful that will be...)

  2. it is pretty cool to have slam fire but wouldn't it be a little difficult to aim while moving the prime since the primer is on top not a forward handle, you should tell us what it is like and give us a video!!!

  3. slam fire pistol... pretty awesome, especially if you could give it a special extended mag.

  6. While this is a neat feature, I feel like because of the position of the priming handle, this is ind of akward. I feel like the pump-handle in front like the Raider, Alpha Trooper, and Quick 16 is better suited to Slam-Fire mode than the design on the Speedload 6. Then again, I don't own one yet, but I'm just guessing that the feel of Slam-Fire on this blaster is going to be odd.

  7. See, I was all miffed because the slide doesn't automatically return to position, but this explains it. I imagine firing one of these puppies should look a bit like an old West gunfighter fanning the hammer on a six shooter.
